You're Fired!

My Mother forgot my anniversary for the first time in 29 years. Every year she brings us a cake or pie, a card and balloons. Larry and I didn't hear from her on our big day (Jan. 25th) so I called her to make sure she was ok. Plus, we wanted pie. Well, she didn't say anything about our anniversary, so I didn't mention it either, because I didn't want her to feel bad. Susan and I mentioned it to her at book club on Tuesday and she felt really bad. She had written down our anniversary in February.

Guess what Larry and I received last night?

Mom, we could never fire you.

She even brought an apology balloon.
This post is dedicated to the best Mom in the whole wide world. She is always thinking of others. She does so much for me and my family. She is such a wonderful, kind, caring, pie giving Mom. I am so blessed to have her in my life.
