For October's theme it was only fitting that we did something Halloweeny. We choose Witches Night Out. We also decided to dress up in as much or as little bewitching attire as we wanted. I wasn't able to make it, but I heard it was a great success. Dana made some potent black cat martini's and everyone else brought some irresistible eerie edibles. Devilish eggs, Pumpkin Soup, Dip with Crunchy Cat Toasts, Halloweenies, Meatloaf baked in hollowed-out pumpkins, Shredded Brains and Grubs, little pumpkin sammies and other spooky fare graced the tables.
As my mom was downloading all of her fabulous photos something went wrong and they didn't downloaded properly and were erased from her camera. :(
So for this cooking club, there is no proof of the spooktacular time that was had by all.
All I can offer you is a photo of one spooky severed finger. And I can't even attest to what these taste like because the one my mom so nicely saved for me and brought to my house was gobbled down by my dog.
For November's Cooking club we debated whether to do Thanksgiving Sides and have everyone try out there favorite turkey accompaniment or something along those lines. But, we decided to do a "Pie" theme and everyone will bake either a savory or sweet pie of their choice. This also gives some us the chance to do a test run on the pies we will make for Thanksgiving. I'm already breaking out my recipes to see what I want bake.

Mosley eats very well.
I did try to give Kaia a bite, but I guess it didn't look too appetizing to her.
