Cowboy Grub Cooking Club!

Jodi welcomed us to her home for our cowboy/western/tex mex bash.

This is actually my favorite kind of welcome.

Cowgirl friends. Linda & Jodi.

Ribs, Texas style.  Makes your eyes water just lookin' at em. Makes you cry when you eat em.  They are the best.

Mothers and Daughters.

I moseyed on in for a photo too.

Robin's awesome tax mex coleslaw

Judi's homemade "best apple pie in the universe." (I just named it)

Robin & Betty swiggin' the Red Stripe.

Some of the posse.

Everyone joined in the festivities.

Who wore it best?

Jodi's most excellent sliders

Chris' cowboy spaghetti w/bacon & cheese.  Delish.

Renate's picture perfect cornbread.

Betty's Green River watermelon - sooo sweeeet.

Renate's baked soldier beans w/vermont syrup. "Well known in early New England, this heirloom bean is great as a baking or soup bean. The name is from the markings near the eye that resembles an 18th Century European soldier."

The neighbors wanted to join in the fun.

Nan and Ranate. Our newest gals.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for Sunday, October 30th for our Halloween/Octoberfest party.

Until we meet again, trinken viel bier!
