Olympic Cooking Club

We opened our Olympic Cooking Club with, of course, a beverage. A Pinot Grigio Sangria to celebrate Italy.

Summer is sporting her gold medal she earned in cake baking.


Yummy, moist, made from scratch chocolate cake w/espresso buttercream frosting.
TO DIE FOR!




We also enjoyed Margaritas, Ciabatta bread sammies w/roasted red peppers, basil leaves & goat cheese, Jamaican Bobsled sweet/hot meatballs & Swedish meatballs.
Oh boy.
Mmmmmm

A little festiveness.


May friendship, like wine, improve as time advances,

Oh my gosh, the cake looks hideous, but man was it good. I need to work on the consistancy of the frosting.

Cooking club is fun. Everyone should try coming. The "Back-to-School" theme will be great.

I know you told me not to post a pic of the cake, but it was so festive, so I made the photo a lttle smaller, so it wouldn't look too "hideous"
